A Long Life
Your life is not long on this earth ,
open your wings, flutter in royal magnificence,
reaching far and wide.
Your life is not long on this earth,
with patience gather those who are poor,
in kindness bring abundance .
Your life is not long on this earth,
with joy, bring rest to the weary,
to the anxious , bring peace .
For your life will be long on this earth,
according to the love you have for the others,
according to how little
you think of yourself.
So here's to a long life lived,
with days spent
in fullness and joy.
